Cannulae, Denniston dilators and accessories
Ipas EasyGrip® cannulae are designed for use with the Ipas DVS or Ipas MVA Plus® aspirators. State-of-the-art latex-free plastics used in the manufacture of Ipas EasyGrip® cannulae provide the tactile response of a rigid curette with the gentle probe of a flexible cannula.
Available in sizes 4mm to 12mm, Ipas EasyGrip® cannulae utilize permanently affixed bases which eliminate the need for adapters to connect to the aspirator, resulting in fewer parts to lose and more efficient procedure preparation. These bases are color-coded by size for rapid differentiation and are constructed with “wings” to facilitate easy insertion and removal from the aspirator.
Ipas flexible Karman cannulae (sizes 4mm to 12mm) are made of high-quality medical grade polyethylene plastic, offering optimal flexibility, strength and durability.
Adapters allow Ipas flexible Karman cannulae to be used with the Ipas DVS and Ipas MVA Plus®.
Adapter Set for Karman cannulae
The adapter set includes one size each of 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10mm adaptors to allow Ipas flexible Karman cannulae to be used with the Ipas DVS and Ipas MVA Plus. The size 6 adaptor is used with Karman cannulae sizes 4 through 6, and size 7 through 10mm Karman cannulae have their own adaptor.
The gentle approach to cervical dilation
The Denniston dilator is a plastic, lightweight instrument used in gynecological procedures for dilating the cervix. The Denniston dilator set comprises five double-ended, tapered dilators ranging in size from 5mm to 14mm. Manufactured from injection-molded plastic to strict quality standards, Denniston dilators:
- Are lighter and more cost-effective than metal dilators
- Are designed to reduce risk of perforation
- Require less force and fewer insertions
- Can be autoclaved, boiled, gas- or cold-sterilized
